The Atul Krishan Bansal Foundation was established in loving memory of our late CEO, Mr. Atul Krishan Bansal. His compassionate spirit, unwavering commitment to social good, and inspiring leadership left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. To honour his legacy, the DEE Group of Companies founded this not-for-profit organization under Section 8 of the Companies Act on 22nd January 2021.
Functioning as the CSR arm of DEE Development Engineers Limited (DDEL), the foundation aims to carry forward his vision by uplifting communities through meaningful, inclusive, and sustainable development programs focused on women empowerment, girl child education, health, environmental sustainability, and vocational training.
At AKB Foundation, we implement a wide spectrum of programs aimed at building a stronger, more equitable society. Our initiatives include scholarships for underprivileged girls, self-defence training sessions, computer literacy workshops, vocational and stitching training for women, and environmental campaigns like tree plantations and cleanliness drives. We also organize health check-up and blood donation camps to improve access to essential medical care in underserved communities. Furthermore, our Welding School and Vocational Centre provides hands-on training in skilled trades, enabling women to break barriers in traditionally male-dominated industries.
The major goal behind the foundation is that we believe in a future where every girl has the right to dream beyond societal constraints, and every woman has the opportunity to lead a life of dignity and independence. The Foundation is rooted in the belief that empowering one woman transforms an entire family, and eventually, society at large. We are not just addressing issues; we are building pathways for long-term impact. Each program is designed not as a one-time effort but as a catalyst for sustainable change.
